Vapor Honing / Wet Blasting
Precision cleaning and surface restoration for aluminum and metal components. Vapor honing restores parts to a clean, refined satin finish while preserving detail and critical tolerances.
Vapor honing, also known as wet blasting, is a precision cleaning and surface restoration process used to restore aluminum and metal components.
The process uses a controlled mixture of water and blasting media to gently remove oxidation, corrosion, and contamination while producing a smooth, uniform satin finish. It is commonly used for engine components, carburetors, intake manifolds, brackets, valve covers, and other aluminum parts where preserving surface detail is important.
Each project is evaluated individually to determine the best cleaning and finishing approach for the part.
Restores Appearance
Removes oxidation, grime, and surface contamination while bringing aluminum and metal parts back to a clean, uniform finish.
Preserves Detail
A refined process ideal for parts where casting texture, machined edges, and surface detail still matter.
Ideal for Restoration
Well suited for automotive, motorcycle, vintage, and specialty projects where appearance and fit both count.
